
Nathalie Aufauvre has been appointed as secretary general of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR).
As of Monday 9 January 2023, she will take over from Dominique Laboureix, who has been appointed president of the single resolution board in Brussels.
Aufauvre joined the Banque de France in 1984 and fter holding a number of management positions in financial market and monetary policy directorates, in 2002 she was appointed deputy director of the directorate general operations, before becoming finance director and director of management control and budget in 2006. She was then appointed secretary general of the Banque de France in 2012.
In October 2017, Aufauvre was appointed director general of financial stability and operations of the Banque de France.
A member of the NGFS Steering Committee since its launch in January 2018, Aufauvre has also been chair of the Banque de France's Climate Change Centre since April 2021.
