
WTW has appointed Diya Luke as its global head of investments, with the aim of driving the growth strategy of the company’s investment business globally.
Luke will start the role from 1 July, succeeding Chris Ford, who will retire at the end of June.
In this role, she will be reporting to Julie Gebauer, head of health, wealth and career.
Luke joined the global advisory, broking and solutions company in 2004, as an investments consultant, having gained a B.A. in economics and political science from Macalester College, as well as an M.B.A. form Columbia University.
She has gone on to hold several leadership positions during her time at WTW, including New York investments leader, south east investments leader, north east region leader and most recently, growth acceleration leader for the company’s health, wealth and career business.

On Ford’s retirement, Gebauer continued: “Ford’s leadership has been instrumental in building a truly global Investments business, which today has more than $150bn in assets under management and has historically outperformed industry benchmarks. We take this opportunity to thank him for all that he has done and to wish him the very best in his retirement as we look forward to continued growth in the investments business under Luke’s leadership.”
