bfinance has appointed Ravi Rastogi as managing director and global head of insurance.
In his new role, Rastogi will collaborate with bfinance’s senior leadership team and client consultants across its international offices. His mandate includes strengthening the firm’s ability to support insurers as they navigate increasingly complex investment environments, evolving regulatory requirements, and growing sustainability considerations. He will also help refine bfinance’s strategic insurance offerings and enhance its capabilities in the sector.
Rastogi brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, including almost two decades specialising in insurance investments. He has previously held senior regional leadership roles at Mercer between 2015 and 2018, Willis Towers Watson from 2010 to 2015, and EY from 2021 to 2024. In 2018, he founded Ark Advisors, a specialist consultancy focused on insurance investment.
Prior to his formal appointment, Rastogi had been working closely with bfinance for several months in an advisory capacity.
Commenting on his appointment, Rastogi said: “bfinance has a long-standing reputation for independent, rigorous advice and for acting as a true extension of its clients’ internal teams. The research pedigree and unique client-centric business model resonate deeply with insurers’ own commitment to delivering investment outcomes for their end clients. Having worked closely with the firm as an advisor, I am delighted to be taking on this role full-time. I look forward to working with colleagues and clients globally to help insurers address evolving investment priorities, governance demands, and sustainability objectives.”
