AXA IM appoints new Architas CIO

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Rémi Lambert as chief investment officer (CIO) for Architas.

The move, effective immediately, will see Lambert report to Architas CEO, Matthieu André, as he takes over from Jaime Arguello, who has retired.

Lambert will also join Architas’ Global Management Committee.

Based in Paris, Lambert’s main priorities will include a continued focus on delivering strong investment performance, improving Architas’s core processes, as well as facilitating strong engagement across both AXA IM business units and AXA entities, to which Architas provides its products and services.

Commenting on Lambert’s appointment, André said: “We are delighted to promote an internal talent and Rémi was a natural choice for the role given his previous position as CIO for Architas in France. Over the last few months, Remi and Jaime have been working closely to ensure a smooth transition and we’re now happy to benefit from Remi’s experience, energy, leadership and strong performance focus.”

Prior to this role, Lambert was CIO of Architas France for over 10 years.
