Luxembourg sees insurance premiums rise by 44.51%

Premiums in Luxembourg’s insurance sector for 2019 increased by 44.51% compared to 2018, with non-life rising by 186.41% and life insurance growing by 18.61%.

According to the country’s regulatory authority, the Commissariat aux Assurances, figures for Q4 2019 showed inflows from non-life branches growing by 142.86% compared to the same period in 2018.

Life insurance premiums increased by 7.02% in Q4 2019 compared to Q4 2018.
