Finnish pension insurance company, Elo, is searching for a new CIO due to Hanna Hiidenpalo leaving her duties.

Hiidenpalo has led the investment operations since Elo’s establishment in 2014. She is leaving her current position at the end of September and will continue as senior adviser until the end of 2023.

Director Jonna Ryhänen has been appointed interim CIO of Elo as of 1 October 2023.

“Hiidenpalo has led with determination Elo’s investment operations in a turbulent environment and with good results. She will leave her successor a competent and engaged investment organisation. She has also played an important role in the development of Elo's new strategy. We are grateful for her strong contribution and wish her all the best in the future,” Elo CEO Carl Pettersson said.
