Aberdeen Investments strengthens APAC insurance capabilities

Aberdeen Investments has strengthened its APAC insurance capabilities with two senior appointments.

Alan Koay joins as senior solutions director within the Strategic Insurance Group, bringing extensive experience in insurance investment and product solutions having held leadership roles at Etiqa Insurance Singapore as well as Axa Life Insurance Malaysia.

Echo Yang, previously investment director of quantitative analytics on Aberdeen’s Asia Pacific fixed income desk, assumes a new role as senior solutions director within the Strategic Insurance Group. In her previous capacity, Yang led insurance-centric portfolio modelling across APAC. She has deep expertise in portfolio construction and investment innovation across asset classes.
