ACORE Capital has appointed Andrew Terry, former head of US insurance at Schroders, as a managing director.
In this role, Terry will focus on expanding ACORE’s relationship across the insurance industry.
“Terry is a unique talent with deep relationships throughout the insurance industry,” Warren de Haan, CEO of ACORE, said.
“He brings a great track record and intimate understanding of how commercial real estate debt investment strategies provide solutions for insurance companies. We are fortunate to have Terry on our team, as he will strengthen our position as one of the largest commercial real estate debt managers to US insurance companies.”
Prior to Schroders, Terry held capital raising and relationship management positions in the institutional client group at AllianceBernstein and the financial institutions group at BlackRock, where he was actively involved in investment solutions for insurance companies.
He previously worked as an insurance equity analyst at Macquarie/Fox-Pitt Kelton and as a consultant for Oliver Wyman. Terry graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
