The ABI has appointed Zurich UK CEO Tim Bailey as its new President, and M&G chief executive, retail and savings, Clare Bousfield as its new deputy president.
Bailey replaces Barry O’Dwyer, group CEO at Royal London, and will hold the role for the next two years.
Commenting on the new appointments, ABI chair Baroness Nicky Morgan said: "Their experience, insight and leadership will be greatly valued, particularly at such an important time for the industry as we prepare for the introduction of Solvency UK."
