Speaker Profile: Chris Palmer
Chris is Chief Investment Officer of the Medical Protection Society, a member owned mutual providing indemnity cover to 300,000 medical professionals globally. He is accountable for the investment strategy for its c£3bn portfolio, implementing its strategic asset allocation, across multiple public & private asset classes, jurisdictions and through selection/performance management of external partners. Chris was most recently the head of illiquid asset origination at Phoenix Group, before that head of market risk, credit & real estate at Swiss Re and previously a fixed income fund manager at L&G and at Old Mutual. He is a fellow of the London Institute of Banking & Finance and a graduate of the University of Cambridge
