Speaker Profile: Geert Henckens

Geert Henckens is head of Private Fixed Income with responsibility for Private Corporates, Infrastructure, Private Asset-Based Finance and Residential Whole Loans.

With 27 years in financial markets, Geert has held diverse roles across equities and fixed income. He joined MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM’s) EMEA Corporate Private Placements team in 2014 and led the group from 2020 to 2023, overseeing Corporate Private Placements and Private Structured Credit teams globally. Geert was appointed Global Head of Investment Grade Private Credit in 2023. Previously, Geert worked at KBC Bank in London managing syndicated loans worldwide
