Speaker Profile: Daniel Blamont

Daniel Blamont is Group Investment Operations Director, within the Investment Office at Royal London Group (RLG). Responsibilities include developing RLG’s investment analytics platform, broadening RLG’s investment universe and setting investment assumptions. Until 2021 Daniel had been at Phoenix Group for 9 years, focusing on Strategic Asset Allocation for annuity funds, developing Phoenix’ private debt capabilities and contributing to Phoenix Groups strategic initiatives (BPA, M&A). Prior to that, he worked for over nine years in investment banking, starting in fixed income research at Deutsche Bank in 2002. From 2006 to 2012 Daniel was in Insurance & Pension structuring at Deutsche Bank and subsequently Credit Suisse.
