Speaker Profile: Oren Bass

Oren Bass is Partner, Head of Working Capital Solutions at Pemberton. He previously managed Pemberton’s global investment origination team for the Working Capital Finance business.

Prior to joining Pemberton in 2022, Oren was CEO of FIBR Bank (previously Amsterdam Trade Bank) where he was responsible for transforming the bank into a pan-European digital lender focused on SMEs.

Oren has over 20 years experience in alternative lending and private debt. Before running FIBR Bank, in 2012 Oren founded pioneering digital millennial lender Pave, which he scaled across the United States. Oren also worked at Founders Intelligence, GLG Partners, Goldman Sachs and Clifford Chance.

Oren graduated from the University of Leeds in 1999 with a first-class Bachelor of Arts in History and completed the law conversion course at College of Law in 2001.
