AllianzGI appoints Bjoern Jesch as chief product officer

Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) has announced that Bjoern Jesch is joining the firm in a new role as chief product officer.

He will be based in Frankfurt, leading product solutions and marketing at AllianzGI with executive responsibility.

Jesch has held senior leadership roles in portfolio management, product management and solutions during his career to date. Previously, he worked for DWS Group, where he was most recently global chief investment officer (CIO) and CEO of DWS Switzerland. Prior to that, he was global head of multi asset and solutions, and CIO EMEA at DWS Group.

He will join AllianzGI on 1 September 2025 and become a member of the group’s executive committee, reporting to CEO, Tobias Pross.
