Zurich announces repurchase of €500m of dated subordinated debt

Zurich intends to repurchase €500m of 4.25% fixed-to-floating dated subordinated notes due 2043.

The notes, which will mature in October 2043 and are first callable in October 2023, were issued by Zurich in 2013.

Upon cancellation of the repurchased notes, a notional amount of €500m will remain outstanding.
