SCOR's solvency ratio hits 226%; capital gains of €58m achieved

SCOR's estimated solvency ratio hit 226% as at 30 June 2017, marginally above the optimal range of 185%-220% defined in its Vision in Action strategic plan.

In H1 2017, invested assets generated a financial contribution of €258m. The active asset management policy executed by SCOR Global Investments has enabled the group to record capital gains of €58m over the period, coming mainly from the fixed income portfolio.

The return on invested assets stands at 2.7% for H1 2017.

Invested assets stand at €18,349m as at 30 June 2017, and are composed as follows: 9% cash, 77% fixed income (of which less than 1% are short-term investments), 4% loans, 3% equities, 5% real estate and 2% other investments.
