Nippon Life subsidiary to divest stake in US asset manager

Nippon Life Americas (NLA) is to sell all of it ownership interest in Post Advisory Group to Nexus Capital Management (Nexus) and Aranda Principal Strategies (APS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek.

Post is an asset management company based in the United States, specialising in high-yield and senior loan strategies under the umbrella of Principal Asset Management.

Nippon Life aims to become “a corporate group offering various type of reassurance across divers areas centering around life insurance, spanning out to asset management, healthcare, nursing care, chidcare and others as a provider of multidimensional peace of mind”.

Targeting 2035, Nippon Life will endeavour to double group core operating profit and increase policyholder dividends.
