Gothaer begins exclusive cooperation with solar supplier Ecoplant

Gothaer has begun an exclusive cooperation with solar supplier Ecoplant, as part of an initiative launched at the end of 2021 to support small and medium-sized companies in the energy transition.

The Ecoplant Sun Tracking Solar System is a power generator providing up to 4,000 kWh of sustainable electricity annually. The generator combines functions such as on- and off-grid hybrids – i.e. feeding into the power gird or local use-, energy charging and energy supply for electric bicycles and cars. The solar collectors always turn in the direction of the sun and thus make the best possible use of the solar radiation.

“We want to make a sustainable contribution to climate change,” Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG CEO Thomas Bischof stated.

“Our ambitious goal is to help 500 business customers reduce their CO2 emissions by 50% over the next five years. With Ecoplant, another partner has now been won for this initiative.”
