CNP Assurances sees SCR coverage ratio rise by 16%

The consolidated SCR coverage ratio for CNP Assurances increased by 16 per cent from 177 per cent at 31 December 2016 to 193 per cent as at 30 June 2017.

"The increase was in line with the rise in interest rates and equity prices observed in the first half," the French insurance company said.

Net profit rose by 6% to €657m.
