Speaker Profile: Bertrand Loubières

Bertrand is Head of Infrastructure Debt at BNPP AM Alts (formerly “AXA IM Alts”)1. He is responsible for the continued development of our infrastructure debt investment platform where today we manage over €16 billion across the digital, energy, social, transportation and utility sectors. His responsibilities include managing a team of thirteen infrastructure specialists in underwriting infrastructure loans and bonds and since 2013, the team has invested c.€17bn in infrastructure debt across 214 transactions. Before joining AXA IM Alts in 2015, Bertrand headed the origination, structuring, and placement of all infrastructure project and structured bond opportunities in EMEA and APAC at BNP Paribas. Prior to BNP Paribas, Bertrand worked in the securitisation team at Morgan Stanley and before that held a series of roles focused on infrastructure and structured finance. Bertrand has 24 years of experience in Infrastructure, Energy, Commodity and Export finance. Bertrand obtained his MBA from ESSEC Business School in 1996
