Hymans Robertson appoints head of general insurance

Hymans Robertson has appointed Krish Kistnassamy as head of general insurance within its Insurance & Financial Services (IFS) practice.

Kistnassamy has more than 25 years of general insurance experience at senior levels of industry including 10 years at the PRA. In his new role, he will lead and develop Hymans Robertson’s general insurance services including: capital management, risk management, stress testing, exposure management, pricing and underwriting, reserving, asset-liability management, resolution planning and climate.

Commenting on his new role, Krish Kistnassamy said: “I am delighted and excited to be joining a firm with the history and breadth of experience of Hymans Robertson. The challenges general insurers face over the next few years will be numerous: whether from geopolitical risk or the unprecedented economic environment to the uncertain impact of climate, while they are likely to remain subject to considerable scrutiny.
