French life insurance net inflows exceed €2bn for second consecutive month

French life insurance net inflows stood at €2.3bn in November 2021, exceeding the threshold of €2bn for the second month in a row, a sequence that had not been observes for more than two years (in June-July 2019).

The latest figure published by France Assureurs, formerly La Fédération française de l'Assurance (FFA), is €1.9bn higher compared to November 2020 and €1.3bn higher compared to November 2019.

Since the start of 2021 to end-November, net inflows amounted to €21.0bn, up €24.3bn compared to 2020 but slightly down compared to 2019.

At the end of November 2021, outstanding insurance contracts reached €1,861bn, up +4% over one year.
