FWD group CIO to step down

Written by Adam Cadle

FWD’s group CIO, Andreas Hoffman, is to leave after over four years there.

According to AsianInvestor, his move is down to a decision to spend more time with family in Germany, and he will look for new roles closer to home.

Having worked at Italian insurer Generali since 2014, Hoffman joined FWD in June 2020 as deputy CIO, reporting to group CIO Paul Carett. Hoffman became group CIO after Carrett left FWD three months later to join Pacific Century Group.
