Aviva Investors has appointed Ravi Cheema as a multi-asset portfolio manager.
Cheema will be involved across multiple funds within the firm’s multi-asset product suite, with an initial focus on MPS and MFV.
Cheema joins from Schroders where he spent 14 years as a senior member of the firm’s multi-asset solutions team, acting as OCIO and lead portfolio manager for some of the UK’s largest DB schemes.
Furthermore, it has also been announced that Sahil Shaikh, who joined the firm as a multi-asset portfolio manager in 2025, will be taking on additional responsibility across the firm’s multi-asset fund suite. He will be named as a co-manager on the firm’s MAF Core and MAF Plus ranges, in a move that aims to ensure that key strategies remain well-resourced and achieving the best outcomes possible for clients.
Sotirios Nakos, head of multi-asset portfolio management at Aviva Investors, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ravi to our team, and we’re excited to start working with him across our multi-asset range. Ravi brings with him a vast knowledge of the industry, and I believe his skills will effectively complement the existing expertise within the multi-asset portfolio management team.
“Multi-asset remains a core growth area for the business, and these changes further strengthen our team-based approach, resilience and the consistency of both potential investment outcomes and client engagement.”
