RSA Insurance CEO, UK & International, Ken Norgrove, has been appointed ABI deputy president.

Norgrove will work alongside ABI president, Tim Bailey, to engage with key stakeholders and act as a lead voice for the sector. As part of the role, he will also sit on the ABI’s consumer committee and appointments and remuneration committee.

Norgrove brings more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and has led some of the firm’s most ambitious ventures and important business turnarounds.

“The insurance industry plays a vital role underpinning the economic health of the country by enabling people, businesses and society to prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times,” Norgrove commented.

“I look forward to bringing my experience from RSA, one of the country’s largest commercial insurers, to help the ABI and our various stakeholders navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
